Pottsville, PA-- Republican and Democratic nominee for the Pottsville Area School Board, Scott Thomas, is focusing his sights on the November General election and his agenda if elected to the board.  Topping his list is the need to keep taxes in line.  Thomas says in tough economic times like we are in, we must find ways to cut  wasteful spending in order to be mindful of the taxpayers.

Also on the agenda, Thomas notes his ability to communicate with the students in the school district. "I plan to meet regularly with student organizations in order to get their opinion on how to make our school better," Thomas said.
