Pottsville, PA-- According to unofficial results, Scott R. Thomas has been voted as the Republican and Democratic nominee for the Pottsville Area School Board  (see results).  Thomas soared to victory on the republican primary with 735 votes, coming just under current Pottsville School Board President Jack Dolbin, who had 834 votes. 

Thomas clinched the democratic nomination with 1,130 votes. 

"I want to thank my supporters-we had a solid ground of bi partisan support," Thomas said in victory. "Together we can look out for the students and taxpayers-together we can increase communication in our schools," he added.
